CT University, Ludhiana
August to December 2017

I came to know about the CT University from my friendDr. P S Bedi, he was associated with the CT Group for sometimes. I applied for a position there, and completely forgot about it as no interview call came even after 6-7months. I was unable to recall anything when the call for interview came. Anyway, reluctant I went for the interview and got selected. There was a hike in pay, position and was offered decent campus accommodation, hence, I decided to leave RNB Global and join CTU. I joined CT University on August 1st, 2017 and came to know that I am the head of two Schools i.e., School of Pharmacy &Allied Medical Sciences (SPAMS) and School of Natural Sciences (SNS).The SPAMS comprised the departments of Pharmacy, Radio-Imaging Technology, Medical Lab Technology, Physiotherapy, Agriculture and Biotechnology, whereas SNS had the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology and Botany. Additional to this, I was also made the coordinator of the PhD program. However, as the university was completely functional from August there were many teething problems regarding academics and day to day functioning. However, all the problems were somehow managed and we could move on. However, I got completely engaged all the 7 days of the week as on Sundays we had the PhD. course-work classes. I had to be present in my office i.e., from 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, all Sundays. Things where moving good, however, my tenure in CT was short lived as the management wanted to have some Pharmacist to take over the SPAMS in order to get Pharmacy Council of India accreditation. So I was forced to quit the university in December.
